Thermoset Injection Molding

      Thermoset Inline Parts

Injection molding of thermoset material offers the part designer many more options whenever the complexity of the item makes it difficult or impossible to compression mold.

This process also allows us to produce parts in much higher quantities due to a significant reduction in cycle time versus compression molding.

Westmoreland Plastics Company has been injection molding thermoset compounds since 1976 and we have seen considerable improvements in the consistency of the materials from our suppliers as well as major advancements in processing equipment and techniques.

      Thermoset Injection with Robot Interface

Our Thermoset Injection processing equipment ranges in size from 35 ton up to 500 ton. All machines are set up with a wide variety of automation options that allow us to run most everything automatically, reducing our costs to manufacturer and improving the quality of our molded components.
